2nd Friday Art Night (Decmeber 2023)

Join us at UA Little Rock Downtown, across from the CALS Roberts Library, for an evening of mingling, art, and music.

THIS MONTH:

Join us for cookies with Santa! Mr. and Mrs. Claus (aka artists Ric and Marlene Gremillion) will be settled on a restored vintage bench from the original Little Rock Library, ready for the perfect free holiday photo opportunity. Little Rock’s gluten-free Dempsey Bakery will be giving away (while supplies last) cookies, mini cupcakes, and other treats to help ring in the season. Hot chocolate with marshmallows, wine, and snacks will also be available.

Future of 2nd Friday Art Night (2FAN) and the Art Program at CALS:

The Central Arkansas Library System will continue to participate in 2nd Friday Art Night at various locations by working with other 2FAN organizations—more info to come!

The Underground Gallery in the Roberts Library and our many libraries around the CALS system will still feature works from CALS’s extensive permanent collection of Arkansas artwork and will exhibit artwork from Arkansas artists and collectors.
