Crafts at Curran Hall

Arkansas artist Marlene Gremillion will be teaching patrons how to make polymer clay canes to assemble things like trinket bowls. The end project will have to be cured after making so you must make arrangements to retrieve it later or it can be mailed to you.

Registration required – space is limited.
Email Shannon Holmes at sholmes@cals.org or call her at 501-320-5792 to register.

“In this workshop, students will learn how to prepare and form decorative canes from polymer clay. Many methods and handy tips will be taught about this amazing art medium. Students will make a wide variety of polymer clay canes and sheets that will be put together to make a kaleidoscope design. These kaleidoscopes and/or canes will be assembled and formed into trinket bowls and cured in a toaster oven to complete. Students may pick up cured pieces at a later date. Some experience is helpful but not absolutely necessary.”

Second Tuesday of each month, 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
Bring your lunch; water, coffee, and cookies provided.
