One of the featured pieces is Little Rock artist Michelle Gunter Moore’s Searching (Bayfront Series), Monotype Chine Colle, $495.
Moore is the co-owner of a small research-based bio-statistical consulting group. She has been creating art since 1998.
She says, “This Bayfront Series of monotypes is from several days of people watching, photographing, and drawing in the South Bay area of San Francisco, capturing raw human nature that is mimicked everywhere, even here at home. This is what I try to capture in my work, the emotion, the capacity of perception, that moment in time that sits quietly in the back of our memories longing to emerge.”
The Underground Gallery is located in the Galleries & Bookstore at Library Square in the CALS Bobby L. Roberts Library of Arkansas History & Art.
Check the CALS Roberts Library website for gallery hours and visiting procedures. Click here for more information on the exhibition.
